As Head of ‘Thirsty 4 Water’, I consider it of great importance and my sole responsibility to occasionally undertake necessary research that allows Thirsty 4 Water to continue to provide a First Class Water Cooler Service to our valued clients. So, after much delay and many excuses, I eventually succumbed to undertake a session at the wonderful Harrogate Turkish Baths – all in the name of duty, of course!

Set in the UK’s most popular Spa Town, Harrogate, a visit to the Baths is an experience that is second to none! A Turkish Baths ritual is a journey of heating, cooling and cleansing the body; promoting a sense of relaxation and a clear mind. Of course, a visit to Harrogate Turkish Baths would not be complete without a bottle of deliciously chilled Harrogate Spa Spring Water to hand, to help flush away the toxins of the day and keep the body fully hydrated!

During my intense research at the baths (mainly drifting in and out of sense of Shangri-La and being in total isolation of the outside world), I found myself reflecting on our own experiences of Harrogate Spa Spring Water. Since launching our state-of-the-art Bag-in-Box Water Cooler range (Aqueduct Water Coolers) Thirsty 4 Water has helped refresh many a happy worker across the UK. This is mainly due to the numerous benefits of these unique and ultra-stylish coolers, for example:

Completely hygienic

No sanitation needed

No storage waste – just fold up the box and recycle!

Internal storage

Harrogate Spring Water is sourced from water-bearing rocks close to the centre of town, 45 metres below the ground. It is renowned for being low in sodium, having a well-balanced mineral content and a slightly sweet flavour.

Do you keep finding that you’ve run out of water bottles for your bottled water cooler? There are few things worse in the office than going to get a glass of water to find that there isn’t any left. Running out of bottled water can sometimes mean waiting days for another bottled water delivery .

Did you know plumbed water coolers are cheaper and more eco friendly?

If you keep running out of water bottles maybe it’s time to consider buying or renting plumbed in water cooler. For offices, business waiting rooms and other high water usage environments plumbed in water coolers are cheaper than bottled water cooler because their maintenance costs less than bottled water. You can also avoid the admin involved in ordering bottled water on and ad-hoc basis and receiving invoices with varying costs throughout the year. With plumbed in water coolers it’s common to pay a flat monthly fee for maintenance, filter replacements and call outs should your water cooler breakdown.

Bottling and transporting water has a carbon footprint. Getting bottled water delivered, especially over long distances is bad for the environment. As a eco-friendly company, at Thirsty4Water we recommend plumbed water coolers because they have a smaller carbon footprint than bottled water coolers. But if you are going to continue to use a bottled water cooler we’d recommend finding a local supplier that provides bottled water that is locally sourced water.
